A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A RECYCLING PARTNERSHIP GRANT AWARD TOTALING $721,000 SUPPORTING RECYCLING CART PURCHASES AND VARIOUS COMMUNITY-BASED OUTREACH INITIATIVES.

WHEREAS, Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through Public Works and Assets.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a Recycling Partnership Grant Award totaling $721,000 supporting recycling cart purchases and various community-based outreach initiatives.

SECTION II:  This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
