AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,250 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $3,000 FROM DISTRICT 9; $2,500 FROM 24; $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 14; AND $750 FROM DISTRICT 15; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OF KENTUCKIANA, INC. FOR JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT’S CURRICULUM MATERIALS.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $7,250 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,000 from District 9; $2,500 from 24; $1,000 from District 14; and $750 from District 15; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Junior Achievement of Kentuckiana, Inc. for Junior Achievement’s curriculum materials.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
