A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $120,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR AN ENGINEERING STUDY REGARDING THE TYLER PARK/BAXTER AVENUE BRIDGE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept funding of $120,000 to conduct an engineering study and structural inspection to the develop a preservation plan to guide the repair, rehabilitation and maintenance of the Tyler Park/Baxter Avenue Bridge.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
