AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $19,900 FROM DISTRICT 3 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO LOUISVILLE COMMUNITY DESIGN CENTER, INC. D/B/A CENTER FOR NEIGHBORHOODS TO CONDUCT AUTHENTIC AND INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT IN ORDER TO GATHER INPUT FOR A POTENTIAL ALGONQUIN PARK MASTER PLAN UPDATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $19,900 is hereby appropriated from District 3 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to Louisville Community Design Center, Inc. d/b/a Center for Neighborhoods to conduct authentic and inclusive community engagement in order to gather input for a potential Algonquin Park master plan update.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
