A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT UP TO $2,000,000 FROM THE TRANSIT AUTHORITY OF RIVER CITY (TARC) FOR THE BUS STOP IMPROVEMENTS AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS UPGRADES PROJECT TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ASSETS.

WHEREAS, these funds will be used to construct Bus Stop Improvements and Pedestrian Access Upgrades; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this opportunity through the Department of Public Works and Assets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept up to $2,000,000 from the Transit Authority of River City (TARC) for the Bus Stop Improvements and Pedestrian Access Upgrades Project to be administered by the Department of Public Works & Assets.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
