AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,160 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $2,860 FROM DISTRICT 14; $2,200 FROM DISTRICT 12; AND $1,100 FROM DISTRICT 25; TO METRO PARKS FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2026 SOUTHEND MOVIES UNDER THE STARS TO BE HELD SUMMER AND FALL 2026.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $6,160 from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $2,860 from District 14; $2,200 from District 12; and $1,100 from District 25; to Metro Parks for costs associated with the 2026 Southend Movies Under the Stars to be held summer and fall 2026.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
