AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $40,000 FROM DISTRICT 16 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE CITY OF PROSPECT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A BOARDWALK AROUND THE PERIMETER OF PUTNEY POND.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $40,000 is hereby appropriated from District 16 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the City of Prospect for the construction of a boardwalk around the perimeter of Putney Pond.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
