WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement has been reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Local 2629, concerning certain employees of the Departments of Public Health and Wellness; Community Services and Revitalization: Community Services Division, Revitalization Division; Department of Economic Development: Air Pollution Control District; Department of Finance and Administration: Office of Management and Budget; Department of Public Protection: Metro Animal Services Division, Metro Corrections, Youth Detention Services; Department of Code and Regulations: Construction Review Division, Planning and Design Services Division.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The Collective Bargaining Agreement (July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2017) reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government an AFSCME, Local 2629, for and on behalf of bargaining unit employees within the Departments of Public Health and Wellness; Community Services and Revitalization: Community Services Division, Revitalization Division; Department of Economic Development: Air Pollution Control District; Department of Finance and Administration: Office of Management and Budget; Department of Public Protection: Metro Animal Services Division, Metro Corrections, Youth Detention Services; Department of Code and Regulations: Construction Review Division, Planning and Design Services Division, concerning wages, other items of compensation, pension, terms of employment, benefits and other matters, be and the same is hereby approved. A copy of the Master Collective Bargaining Agreement is attached hereto.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
