WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through Louisville Metro Police Department,
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
 
SECTION I:  The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $20,000 from Kentucky Office of Homeland Security. Funds will be used to fund Neighborhood Watch initiatives.
 
SECTION II:  This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
