AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $9,840 FROM DISTRICT 13 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, TO BRIGHTSIDE FOR INSTALLATION OF LANDSCAPING AND LANDSCAPING MATERIALS FOR TWO NEW "BRIGHT SITES" AT THE I-265 AND NEW CUT ROAD INTERCHANGE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $9,840 is hereby appropriated from the District 13 Neighborhood Development Funds, to the Brightside for installation of landscaping and landscaping materials for two new "Bright Sites" at the I-265 and New Curt Road interchange.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures, Section 3, as adopted by Resolution No. 290, Series 2011.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
