TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $34,000 FROM THE PARKS FOUNDATION TO BE USED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS & RECREATION FOR RIVER CITY DRUM CORPS PROGRAMMING AT COMMUNITY CENTERS.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Department of Parks & Recreation.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $34,000 from the Parks Foundation. Funds will be used for River City Drum Corps programming at Community Centers.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
