A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $89,595 FROM FEMA and $29,865 FROM A PRIVATE DONOR TO BE USED BY THE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY FOR THE ACQUISITION AND DEMOLITION OF 6209 CATHEEN WAY.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Emergency Management Agency.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $89,595 from FEMA and $29,865 from a private donor. Funds will be used by the Emergency Management Agency for the acquisition and demolition of 6209 Catheen Way. The property will be dedicated as open space.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
