A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A GRANT OF UP TO $30,000.00 FROM THE FUND FOR CITIES OF SERVICE, INC. CONCERNING IMPACT VOLUNTEERING.

WHEREAS, the Fund for Cities of Service, Inc. has offered to make a grant of up to $30,000.00 to the Metro Government to fund an impact volunteering initiative; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to accept this money.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a grant of up to $30,000.00 from the Fund for Cities of Service, Inc.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
