A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT FUNDING FROM THE MARCH OF DIMES GREATER KENTUCKY CHAPTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,040 TO PROVIDE HEALTHY START CENTERING PREGNANCY SERVICES, TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND WELLNESS.

WHEREAS, the application for the funding has been reviewed and approved by the March of Dimes Greater Kentucky Chapter; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Department of Public Health & Wellness.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept funding from the March of Dimes Greater Kentucky Chapter in the amount of $16,040 to provide Healthy Start Centering Pregnancy Services, to be administered by the Department of Public Health and Wellness.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
