AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (JUNE 13, 2014 - JUNE 30, 2017) RELATING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AND THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES, AFL-CIO LOCAL 2629 (AFSCME) CONCERNING CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE LOUISVILLE ZOO.

WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement has been reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), Local 2629, concerning certain employees of the Louisville Zoo.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The Collective Bargaining Agreement (June 13, 2014 through June 30, 2017) reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government an AFSCME, Local 2629, for and on behalf of bargaining unit employees within the Louisville Zoo concerning wages, other items of compensation, pension, terms of employment, benefits and other matters, be and the same is hereby approved. A copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement is attached hereto.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
