A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT THE DONATION OF AN AMPHITHEATER AND WALKING TRAILS TO SUN VALLEY PARK FROM LOUISVILLE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY ("LG&E") VALUED AT APPROXIMATELY $175,000.00.

WHEREAS, LG&E has agreed to construct a pavilion and pave several walking paths in Sun Valley Park; and
WHEREAS, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this opportunity through its Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept the donation from LG&E of a pavilion and walking paths in Sun Valley Park valued at approximately $175,000.00.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
