A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT FUNDING FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 TO SUPPORT THE LOUISVILLE METRO SAFE AND HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS PLANNING PROJECT.

WHEREAS, the application for the funding has been reviewed and approved by the United States Department of Justice; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Department of Public Health & Wellness,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept funding from the United States Department of Justice in the amount of $20,000 to support the Louisville Metro Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods Planning Project.

SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
