A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $25,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE OUTDOOR FOUNDATION TO SUPPORT NATURE BASED RECREATIONAL PROGRAMMING TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, a Notice of Grant Award has been received from The Outdoor Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $25,000 of funding from The Outdoor Foundation to support nature based recreational programming to be administered by the Parks Department.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
