A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF CONSULTING SERVICES AND FINANCIAL ANALYSIS TO PERFORM A WASTE CHARACTERIZATION STUDY TO DETERMINE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INCREASED MATERIAL RECOVERY AND OPERATIONAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE METRO LOUISVILLE WASTE REDUCTION FACILITY FROM WASTE MANAGEMENT OF KENTUCKY VALUED UP TO $55,000 TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ASSETS.

WHEREAS, a donation has been offered by Waste Management of Kentucky; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this donation opportunity through the Department of Public Works and Assets.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept the donation from Waste Management of Kentucky in the form of consulting services and financial analysis valued up to $55,000 to be administered through the Department of Public Works.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
