A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $122,124 OF FUNDING FROM THE KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR THE OHIO RIVER LEVEE TRAIL EXTENSION PROJECT CONSTRUCTION PHASE TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, a Notice of Grant Award has been received from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $122,124 of funding from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for the Ohio River Levee Trail Extension Project Construction Phase to be administered by the Parks Department.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
