TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 18 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE STERLING SPRINGS ESTATES RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION, INC. FOR RETENTION POND IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING LAKE DREDGING, SILT REMOVAL AND EROSION REPAIR, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOUISVILLE AND JEFFERSON COUNTY METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT'S PILOT BASIN RE-ESTABLISHMENT PROGRAM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 18 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Sterling Springs Estates Residents Association, Inc. for retention pond improvements including lake dredging, silt removal and erosion repair, in partnership with Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District's Pilot Basin Re-Establishment Program.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
