AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 FROM DISTRICT 8 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS (NDF), TO DEVELOP LOUISVILLE - LOUISVILLE FORWARD AS A MATCHING GRANT TO CONDUCT AND PRODUCE A COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN FOR THE DEER PARK NEIGHBORHOOD.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $15,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 8 NDF, to Develop Louisville - Louisville Forward as a matching grant to conduct and produce a comprehensive neighborhood plan for the Deer Park neighborhood.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
