A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A DONATION OF THE USE OF A TOYOTA PRIUS AS PART OF THE RECYCLE AND WIN PROGRAM WHICH IS A PROGRAM TO PROMOTE AND CREATE AWARENESS OF RECYCLING FROM COCA COLA OF CHARLOTTE, NC (CCBCC OPERATIONS, LLC) VALUED UP TO $5,479 TO BE ADMINISTERED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ASSETS.

WHEREAS, a donation has been offered by Coca Cola of Charlotte, NC (CCBC Operations, LLC); and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this donation opportunity through the Department of Public Works and Assets.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept the donation from Coca Cola of Charlotte, NC (CCBCC Operations, LLC) in the form of the use of a Toyota Prius during the execution of the Recycle and Win Program valued up to $5,479 to be administered through the Department of Public Works.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
