TITLE

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:  $1,500 FROM DISTRICT 1; $1,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 3, 6, 2, 5; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE RIVER CITY DRUM CORP CULTURAL ARTS INSTITUTE, INC. FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE 9^TH ANNUAL DA'VILLE CLASSIC DRUM LINE SHOWCASE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I:  The sum of $5,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds, in the following manner:  $1,500 from District 1; $1,000 each from Districts 3, 6, 2, 5, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the River City Drum Corp Cultural Arts Institute, Inc. for expenses associated with the 9^th Annual Da'Ville Classic Drum Line Showcase.

SECTION II:  The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:      This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
