AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,500 $25,750 $45,250 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $10,000 FROM DISTRICTS 12, 19; $5,000 FROM DISTRICTS 11, 7; $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 10; $1,500 FROM DISTRICT 15; $1,000 FROM DISTRICTS 14, 17, 1, 4, 13, 24, 25; $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 16, 9, 22, 20, 2, 3, 8, 6, 21; $250 FROM DISTRICT 18; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA OF KENTUCKY, INC., FOR PHASE 2 RENOVATIONS TO THE FREEDOM HOUSE WHICH HOUSES THE WOMEN'S ADDICTION RECOVERY SERVICES (As Amended).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $18,500 $25,750 $45,250 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $10,000 from Districts 12, 19; $5,000 from Districts 11, 7; $2,000 from District 10; $1,500 from District 15; $1,000 from Districts 14, 17, 1, 4, 13, 24, 25; $500 each from Districts 16, 9, 22, 20, 2, 3, 8, 6, 21; $250 from District 18; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Volunteers of America of Kentucky, Inc., for Phase 2 renovations to the Freedom House which houses the Women's Addiction Recovery Services.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
