TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 24 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT, 7TH DIVISION, TO FUND OVERTIME EXPENSES IN THE BLUE LICK ROAD CORRIDOR TO MITIGATE ILLEGAL NARCOTICS TRAFFICKING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 24 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Louisville Metro Police Department, 7th Division, to fund overtime expenses in the Blue Lick Road corridor to mitigate illegal narcotics trafficking.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
