A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $26,200 OF FUNDING AND $6,991.60 IN TRAINING MATERIALS FROM THE NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION & THE WALMART FOUNDATION FOR OUT OF SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMMING TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, a Sponsorship Award has been received from the National Recreation and Park Association and The Walmart Foundation; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $26,200 of funding and $6,991.60 in training materials from the National Recreation and Park Association and the Walmart Foundation for Out of School Time Programming, to be administered by the Metro Parks Department.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
