TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET TO ACCEPT $666,000 OF FUNDING FOR THE DESIGN PHASE OF THE RANGELAND ROAD WIDENING PROJECT TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept $666,000 of funding for the design phase of the Rangeland Road Widening Project to be administered by the Department of Public Works and Assets.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
