AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A TOTAL OF $20,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:  $15,000 FROM DISTRICT 8; $5,000 FROM DISTRICT 9; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET TO THE HIGHLAND COMMERCE GUILD, INC., FOR GRAFFITI REMOVAL SUPPLIES AND LABOR.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The sum of $20,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds, in the following manner:  $15,000 from District 8; $5,000 from District 9; through the Office of Management and Budget to the Highland Commerce Guild, Inc., for graffiti removal supplies and labor.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance shall be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
