WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Louisville Metro Parks Department,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $16,250 from the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD). Funds will be used to provide outdoor, interactive environmental education to Jefferson County (KY) Public School fourth grade students who have limited opportunities to interact with nature.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
