BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I:                     The sum of $5,750 $6,250 $6,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner:  $1,500 from Districts 12, 5; $750 from District 1; $500 from Districts 13, 14, 4, 25; $250 each from Districts 10, 16, 17; to Metro Parks for costs associated with the Canoemobile event to be held October 1^st for JCPS Echo School; October 2^nd at Shawnee Park and October 3^rd at Riverview Park.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
