TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE $7,500 TO THE BRIDGEGATE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION, INC. FOR REMOVAL OF SEDIMENT FROM THE BRIDGEGATE RETENTION BASIN LOCATED IN THE BRIDGEGATE SUBDIVISION AT THIRD STREET ROAD AND HOLIDAY DRIVE.

WHEREAS, Resolution 058, Series 2015 authorized the Mayor to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement and receive a stipend through the Department of Public Works and Assets in the amount of $7,500 from the Metropolitan Sewer District for the removal of sediment from the Bridgegate retention basin in the Bridgegate Subdivision at Third Street Road and Holiday Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government now wishes to enter into a Grant Agreement, by and through the Department of Public Works and Assets, with Bridgegate Residents Association, Inc., to turn the $7,500 stipend over to the Association for the same purpose;
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement, by and through the Department of Public Works and Assets, to provide $7,500 to Bridgegate Residents Association, Inc. for the removal of sediment from the Bridgegate retention basin in the Bridgegate Subdivision located at Third Street Road and Holiday Drive.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
