WHEREAS, the funding has been approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this opportunity,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept funding in the amount of $52,250 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Fair Housing Assistance Program to be administered by Metro Human Relations Commission.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
