AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,800 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $7,000 FROM DISTRICT 22; $500 FROM DISTRICT 20; $200 FROM DISTRICT 6; $100 FROM DISTRICT 19; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO CHILDREN HAVE OPTIONS IN CHOOSING EXPERIENCES, INC. (C.H.O.I.C.E., INC.), FOR A “DARE TO DREAM” SPORTS LEADERSHIP AND MENTORING PROGRAM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $7,800 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $7,000 from District 22; $500 from District 20; $200 from District 6; $100 from District 19; through the Office of Management and Budget, to C.H.O.I.C.E., Inc., for a “Dare to Dream” sports leadership and mentoring program.
SECTION II: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
