AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 020, SERIES 2016, TO CORRECT THE AREA IN ACREAGE OF THE PROPERTY REZONED THEREIN FROM 7.70 ACRES TO 0.51, LOCATED AT 1318 MCHENRY STREET AND PERTAINING TO LOUISVILLE METRO PLANNING COMMISSION CASE NO. 15ZONE1056.

WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") enacted Ordinance No. 020, Series 2016 on February 11, 2016, changing the zoning district classification from C-R Commercial Residential to C-1 Commercial on property located at 1318 McHenry Street, and being in Louisville Metro; and,
WHEREAS, the Council has discovered that the acreage of the applicable property to be rezoned from C-R to C-1 in Ordinance 020, Series 2016, was stated incorrectly as 7.70 acres therein and did not accurately reflect the acreage of 0.51 to be rezoned in Case No. 15Zone1056;
WHEREAS; the Council, through this Ordinance, wishes to cure this inadvertent error by stating the correct area in acreage of the property to be rezoned;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:

Section I: That the area of the rezoned property originally stated within Ordinance 020, Series 2016, and pertaining to Louisville Metro Planning Commission Case No. 15Zone1056, is hereby corrected as follows: The incorrect area of 7.70 acres being rezoned from C-R Commercial Residential to C-1 Commercial is corrected to state 0.51 acres.
Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval.
