Whereas, Rev. Bernard Crayton is the Senior Pastor of the Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. The Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church has experienced enormous growth under his pastorate and has implemented a variety of ministries that are equipping the saints for evangelistic outreach to the unsaved through fervent prayer, discipleship training, and the power of the preached word.
Whereas, Rev. Crayton attended the University of Toledo and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Whereas, Rev. Crayton is married to the former Marcella Jones and the father of two children, Ashley and Justin.
Whereas, Rev. Crayton is the first Vice Moderator for the General Association of Baptist in Kentucky; he serves on the Board of Directors for St. Vincent de Paul; he is a "Founding Member" of the Norton Cancer Institute Leadership Cabinet; and the recipient of the Phoenix Award for his energetic willingness to be involved in activities to bring compassionate care to the entire community.
Whereas, Rev. Crayton is a former Moderator for the Central District Baptist Association of Louisville, a former trustee of Simmons College of Kentucky, and a former Board member of the Louisville Urban League.
Whereas, Pastor Crayton's many awards and recognition include Certificate of Special Recognition presented by the Honorable John Yarmuth, 3rd Congressional District Kentucky (2012); Delahanty - Shobe Humanitarian Award for Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration (2011); Certificate of Merit in recognition of outstanding contributions to our Community presented by President of Alderman Steve Magre (2011); WLOU/WLLV Radio Award as Pastor of the Month (May 2011); Jennifer Reyn...
