AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE CANE RUN ROAD NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN (CASE NOS. 16NEIGHPLAN1000 AND 16NEIGHPLAN1001).

WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 2, 2016 on approving the Cane Run Road Neighborhood Plan in Case Nos. 16NEIGHPLAN1000 and 16NEIGHPLAN1001; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found that the Cane Run Road Neighborhood Plan conforms to the adopted Guidelines and Policies of the Cornerstone 2020 Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council") has considered the evidence presented at the public hearing held by the Louisville Metro Planning Commission and the recommendations of the Commission and its staff as set out in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case Nos. 16NEIGHPLAN1000 and 16NEIGHPLAN1001; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission approving the Cane Run Road Neighborhood Plan and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records; and
WHEREAS, the Council further finds that the Cane Run Road Neighborhood Plan was developed with the significant participation of citizens of the Cane Run Road Neighborhood and surrounding area, and was prepared and adopted in accordance with Chapter 161 of the Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: That the Cane Run Road Neighborhood Plan included in the records of the Planning Commission in Case Nos. 16NEIGHPLAN1000 and 16NEIGHPLAN1001 is hereby adopted.
Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
