TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $2,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 3, 5, 1, 6, 4; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE RESEARCH FOUNDATION, INC. FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE “FUTURE OF OUR COMMUNITY” FORUM SERIES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds, in the following manner: $2,000 each from Districts 3, 5, 1, 6, 4; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the University of Louisville Research Foundation, Inc. for costs associated with the “Future of Our Community” forum series.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
