TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 $29,000 $33,500 FROM DISTRICT 22 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS AS FOLLOWS: $15,000 FROM DISTRICT 22; $5,000 FROM DISTRICT 17; $2,000 FROM DISTRICT 20; $1,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 18, 11, 14, 7, 12, 16; $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 16, 1, 2, 6, 9, 19, 21, 24, 25, 8, 13 AND 10, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE DOWN SYNDROME OF LOUISVILLE, INC. (DSL) TO ENCLOSE AN EXISTING COVERED PATIO AND TO ADD TWO CLASSROOMS TO DSL'S LIFELONG LEARNING CENTER. (AS AMENDED)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $15,000 $29,000 $33,500 is hereby appropriated from the District 22 Neighborhood Development Funds as follows: $15,000 from District 22; $5,000 from District 17; $2,000 from District 20; $1,000 each from Districts 18, 11, 14, 7, 12, 16; $500 each from Districts 16, 1, 2, 6, 9, 19, 21, 24, 25, 8, 13 and 10 through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Down Syndrome of Louisville, Inc. (DSL) to enclose an existing covered patio and to add two classrooms to DSL's Lifelong Learning Center.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
