A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A LOUISVILLE OLMSTEAD PARKS CONSERVANCY, INC. DONATION UP TO $365,000 SUPPORTING PLANNING, DESIGNING AND CONSTRUCTION OF VICTORY PARK IMPROVEMENTS THROUGH THE LOUISVILLE METRO PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Louisville Metro Parks & Recreation Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a Louisville Olmstead Parks Conservancy, Inc. donation up to $365,000 to be administered through the Louisville Metro Parks & Recreation Department supporting Victory Park planning, designing and construction of park improvements.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
