AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,750 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:  $1,500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 12 AND 5; $750 FROM DISTRICT 1; AND $500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 4, 13, 14 AND 25; TO METRO PARKS FOR THE URBAN WILDERNESS CANOE ADVENTURE TO BE HELD OCTOBER 1^ST AT RIVERVIEW PARK AND SEPTEMBER 30^TH AT SHAWNEE PARK.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I:                     The sum of $5,750 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner:  $1,500 each from Districts 12, 5; $750 from District 1; and $500 each from Districts 4, 13, 14, 25; to Metro Parks for the Urban Wilderness Canoe Adventure to be held October 1^st at Riverview Park and September 30^th at Shawnee Park.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
