A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO THE CAPITAL AND OPERATING BUDGET ORDINANCES, APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE FOLLOWING NONCOMPETITIVELY NEGOTIATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT - (KENTUCKY COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE SYSTEM/UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY COMMUNITY COLLEGE SYSTEM FOR JEFFERSON COMMUNITY COLLEGE - $130,000.00).

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/ JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following appropriation for the listed contract is hereby approved:
ZOO
$130,000.00 for a noncompetitively negotiated Professional Service Contract with Kentucky Community and Technical College System/University of Kentucky Community College System for Jefferson Community College for a mentor/internship program, for the Louisville Zoological Gardens’ Boma (African Petting Zoo) and Australian Walkabout to interpret animal natural history, habitat preservation and African Culture for the public from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
