AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A TEXT AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2, PART 8 OF THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE FOR THE SOBRO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT ALLOWING STUDENT HOUSING AS A CONDITIONAL USE WITHIN THE BROADWAY SUBAREA AND BEING IN LOUISIVLLE METRO (CASE NO. 16ZONE1038). body

WHEREAS, on September 15, 2016, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider this text amendment and unanimously recommended approval of this amendment as it conforms to the Guidelines of the Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission in Case No. 16ZONE1038 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records;
Now therefore be it ordained by the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government as follows:
Section I: The amendment to the text of the SoBro Planned Development District, Chapter 2, Part 8 of the Land Development Code, for allowing student housing as a conditional use within the Broadway subarea, as more specifically set forth in attachment 5 of Case No. 16ZONE1038, is hereby approved.
Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
