AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000 FROM DISTRICT 24 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE LOUISVILLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR PROGRAMMING EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE HIRING OF ARTISTS AT THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL LIBRARY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $30,000 is hereby appropriated from District 24 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Louisville Free Public Library for programming expenses associated with the hiring of artists at the South Central Regional Library.
SECTION II: The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures, as adopted and effective as of the passage date.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
