AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (JULY 1, 2016 TO JUNE 30, 2022) RELATING TO WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AND THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS (IBEW), AFLCIO-CLC CONCERNING CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF LOUISVILLE EMA/METROSAFE.

WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement has been reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), AFLCIO-CLC, IBEW Local 369 concerning certain employees of Louisville EMA/MetroSafe,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. That the Collective Bargaining Agreement (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2022) reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and for and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), AFLCIO-CLC, IBEW Local 369 on behalf of bargaining unit employees within the Louisville EMA/MetroSafe Department concerning wages, terms of employment, benefits and other matters, be and the same is hereby approved. A copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement is attached hereto.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
