A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT UP TO $50,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE LOUISVILLE WATER COMPANY FOR TREE REPLACEMENTS IMPACTED BY A WATER LINE REHABILITATION PROJECT IN PARK SITES AS ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Louisville Water Company to accept funding up to $50,000 for the replacement of trees impacting the park sites in the Eastern Parkway area due to phase 1 of the 48 inch transmission main rehabilitation project.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
