A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $285,012 OF ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR CONTINUATION OF THE DESIGN PHASE FOR THE LOUISVILLE LOOP OHIO RIVER LEVEE TRAIL BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept additional funding of $285,012 for the continuation of the environmental and design phase for the Louisville Loop Ohio River Levee Trail Bicycle and Pedestrian facilities along the Ohio River northwest from Cane Run Road to Lees Lane.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
