AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,000 IN DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO BE HELD IN COMMUNITY CENTERS THROUGHOUT DISTRICT 6

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,000 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds to Metro Parks Department for various activities and events to be held in community centers throughout District 6.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
