AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,724 FROM DISTRICT 13 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE JEFFERSON COUNTY PUBLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT CORAL RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $7,724 is hereby appropriated from District 13 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation, Inc. for the installation of new playground equipment, which will benefit the school and the surrounding community, at Coral Ridge Elementary School.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
