AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $13,222 FROM DISTRICT 8 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO FRIENDS OF BEECHWOOD PARK, INC. FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES ASSOCIATED WITH PHASE I OF THE BEECHWOOD AVENUE PARK.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $13,222 is hereby appropriated from District 8 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to Friends of Beechwood, Inc. for capital expenditures associated with Phase I of the Beechwood Avenue park.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
